Filmbrain's Screen Capture Quiz: Round 9, Week 8

If ever there was a film whose time has come, Robert Altman's Nashville is it. We've got our own Haven Hamilton in the White House, and all the President's men singing "It don't worry me." Back in '76, people would chide Altman for his cynicism. But how right he was. That's Christina Raines beneath the Noxzema, explaining to husband Allan Nicholls that they can't perform at the benefit concert because they are registered democrats. The 70s fit so neatly into Burckhardt's theory of the classical and the baroque it is too sad he is debunked by those cretini who favor, say, removing Dante from the canon and replacing it with Bedouin poetry. No?
