Hand doubles? I think so. ... I'm always skeptical of actors & actresses painting or drawing or playing some instrument; with few exceptions it's a shot of hands doing whatever/closeup of person watching/cut to wide shot of actor executing some easy finish like additional shadowing in the hair or a glissando and bang the highest C. Et voila. Movie magic.

i really can't understand why the reception for i heart huckabees was so lukewarm. it's totally hilarious and a fairly incisive foray into eastern philosophy as well. can't think of too many flicks that can pull that off. i know the couple that dustin hoffman and lily tomlin are based upon, and i cannot, I CANNOT, tell you how tartly accurate that scripting was.

Ooh, I know this one - and its link! (This never happens, so I have to be excited.)

I'm very happy to see all this love for Huckabees, I was feeling very alone on that one.

Can you please give us some more info on the couple hoffman and lily tomlin are based on?

Yan

Yes! Huckabees is a wonderful, and unfairly maligned, movie.
