| Well, Filmbrain made it through the rough week, thanks in part to the many kind words he received from nearly all of you (and the copious amount of alcohol he drank on Friday night). Regular posting should resume in a day or so -- thanks for bearing with the slowdown. Fellow New Yorker Woody Allen was also obsessed with death at age forty, and it was in Annie Hall that he bought Diane Keaton the two books shown in last week's quiz. An easy spot, judging by the vast number of correct entries. This week things start to get a bit harder. Filmbrain just watched this the other night (for the first time in about twenty years) -- he had forgotten how absolutely brilliant it was. Name the film. Submit your answers to this address. Good luck! |
