| Filmbrain must have still been basking in a post Bubble-glow when he chose last week's screen quiz. However, he never imagined that only a mere four people would get it right. Granted, Schizopolis isn't one that rocked the box office, but it happens to be Filmbrain's pick for best Soderbergh film...ever. An odd film, yes, but absolutely brilliant. Well, here we are -- the final screen quiz for Round 5! Remember that there are prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, and though Filmbrain still hasn't begun tallying, it's very likely that a few tiebreakers will be required. After last week's stumper, we'll end the round on an easy one. Submit your answers to this address. Good luck! |

I also enjoy Schizopolis more than any other Soderbergh film. It's clearly the one that he put the most of himself into and it's radiant with ideas and wit. Anyway, I just wanted to mention that the commentary on the Criterion edition is well worth a listen. Its one of the funniest commentaries I've sat through. Soderbergh participates in a fictional interview where he satirizes narcisstic directors and gets his tone and mannerisms perfect.

Couldn't agree more, on all counts. However, I have a hard time convincing people to see the film, let alone listen to the commentary.
