Favorite quiz-related email from last week:Yes, it wasn't difficult to identify Spud's interview scene from Danny Boyle's Trainspotting, the film that put the hero in heroin and Lou Reed's Perfect Day back on our hit list. Some of you might have noticed the new banner on the site (at least if you use Firefox - Filmbrain's IE is still showing the old one). It's one in a series created as a gift by a good friend who also happens to be a fellow cinephile, and whose other work you may have seen before. Thank you so much AC - they are all magnificent. Filmbrain only just realized that this round is coming to an end next week. There's been no official tabulation as of yet, though if memory serves there might very well be a tie for first place. Prizes for this round will be announced next week. This week - a mediocre film with some fantastic moments, including the performance by the gentleman pictured below. Name the actor (easy) and the film (not so easy). Send your answers to this address. Good luck! |
