![]() Stop press: Bob Weinstein trods on Filmbrain's foot. Filmbrain is still awaiting apology. Seen around the festival: Kevin Spacey, sporting his Mao Tse-tung/Greek fisherman look, and Daniel Day-Lewis, sporting his Nova Scotia painter/Greek fisherman look. And poor jury member Bai Ling -- one wardrobe malfunction after another. . . No time at the moment for a full update, but without a doubt the most uncomfortable, disturbing film that Filmbrain has seen at the Berlinale is Tsai Ming-liang's latest, The Wayward Cloud. A final fifteen minutes that had the packed theater squirming and fidgeting. This sequel (of sorts) to What Time is it There? begins as a typical Tsai film, but then goes to places that Tsai has never ventured to before. An incredible experience. More later. . . |

*gasps at bai ling.*
i guess the butterfly perched on the wrong breast. :P
